Liquid Filtration - Depth Filters

Depth filtration is a method of separating solid particles from a fluid by passing the fluid through a thick, porous filter medium. Unlike surface filtration, which relies on a thin layer to trap particles, depth filtration utilizes the entire depth of the filter to capture contaminants. This allows depth filters to handle higher particulate loads and larger particles, making them suitable for various applications like water treatment and clarification of a wide range of oils used in manufacturing operations.

COMO 6500 Depth Filter Elements fit the C-1000 Filter Housing found on most COMO portable and dedicated filtration systems. Compared to conventional pleated surface-filters, COMO's wound-media construction allows for higher dirt-holding capacity and longer filter life.
